About Us
Castle Hill Community Centre is the heart of Northwest Ipswich, providing a welcoming and inclusive space for people of all ages and backgrounds. We offer a wide range of activities, services, and support designed to enhance the well-being and quality of life for our community members.
The Role
We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As a trustee, you will play a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of our centre, ensuring we meet our goals and obligations while effectively serving our community. This is a voluntary role, and the Trust Board meets quarterly for half a day. Any expenses incurred in the execution of your duties as a trustee will be fully reimbursed by the Trust.
Responsibilities
- Governance: Provide oversight and guidance on the centre’s operations and policies.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of our long-term vision.
- Fundraising and Community Engagement: Support initiatives to secure funding and increase community involvement.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure the centre adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements.
